Quick & Easy in Uetersen

I wanted a homely, warm brekky so lovely staff Emily suggested the congee.. well, forget your home cooked versions as this is must try !! She was right.. signature breakfast was delicious!! Hearty, packed with flavour for a nice hot breakfast option to my usual bacon n eggs. Otherwise, if you fancy sweet over savoury, then go for the pancakes caramel/ passionfruit icecream! Fabulous little cafe find away from main CBD, short walk to Pyrmont (next to the Star)! Oh and the coffee ? My coffee lover companion gives QBF a HUGE thumbs up for the coffee (and he is has tried many)! Great staff, awesome vibes dining under leafy trees - You won’t be disappointed !

Outstanding! The best brunch I've had in recent memory. This cafe has benefited greatly from new owners taking over in late 2019. A well thought out and creative menu combined with the quality ingredients has resulted in a breakfast experience beyond what you've come to expect. This is a classic example of a venture that is trying to be a bit different and succeeding. Cannot recommend it highly enough, even if it's just for a coffee (which is excellent too). But make sure you go back for the food, you'll be pleased you did.

Quite a disappointing experience. We thought the bottomless drinks meant that we could have at least 4-5 drinks each to get the money’s worth. Unfortunately, It took me forever to prepare to drinks and they didn’t give us any warning when it ends. Also, be beware that bottomless drink starts when you sit at the table rather than when you start eating. We only drank for 60 mins instead of 90 mins as they started counting when we arrived. The food was quite good but it was just an overall disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion. Response: Thanks for coming back to me. I felt that the start time wasn't explained to us very clearly so we were quite shocked when you announced it was ending. In terms of drinks, only 2 of us had 4 drinks while the others had 3 drinks. My friend wanted one more but he was rejected. I hope this review would give people an accurate picture of how things are run here. I hope that things would improve next time.

Food is on point! Especially the waffles, not so Benny and the ottoman! Just be wary the bottomless brunch starts from your booking time not from your first order and they don't give you any reminder for last drinks.

What the heck. Been wanting to go since day one. Finally! Moved it from “want to go” list to “favourite”. Must try if you’re around the area. How good is the porridge and everything else. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you.

We stumbled upon this place in search of good vibes, my wife said she had a foodgasm, and the service was absolutely incredible, what more can I say?

I have been to many cafes, this hands down was the greatest experience and probably the best breakfast I have ever had. Highly recommend to everyone.

Great place to eat and have a few sneaky drinks, hospitality was amazing by all staff. Best place by far if you around pyrmont area and coffee is always great!

The eggs benedict with the maple bacon and the congee with fried chicken was one of the most memorable breakfasts I have ever had. The service was amazing staff very attentive. Its difficult to find a good place for breakfast but this is it. Highly recommend the QBF. Can't wait to go back.

great atmosphere, food and coffee. The only reason taken two stars out was ... we were asked to leave in less than an hour (it was 11:30 am and we got a table at 10:35am after 15mins of waiting) because there was an upcoming reservation. If we knew that we had to leave in a hour, we would have made another choice. We left anyway as we didnt want to start any argument but it shouldnt be something that they expect customers to do or they should have advised earlier.

Located in a chilled relaxing area of the city. We had the mushroom toastie and the brekky congee which was so amazing. Definitely recommend if your in Pyrmont.

A lovely breakfast jaunt for friends. Breakfast was lovely. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the coffee got big thumbs up from everyone as well. Anyone going here will enjoy and the coffee is better here then the place next door if you want to know. ;)

I ready enjoy a congee and this was a large portion, I added the chicken and it was a great reminder of breakfasts in Asia

Very accommodating for a group of 3 without reservations. Black coffee was excellent as were the poached eggs. I was not a fan of the harissa but that's personal taste. Great service, highly recommend

A very delightful experience in this Cafe, the food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and accomodating thanks to them specially Ben, Laura and co. Will keep going back to this little gem.

I’ve been coming to the Quick Brown Fox since I was knee high to duck. Honestly great people, great food and great location. What more can you ask for on a Sunday morning then a cheeky mimosa and waffles.

What a great spot, stopped for a coffee on morning walk and had great chat with owners, wander in an hour later and are sat down straight away. Coffees sensational, service great and the reconstructed eggs Benedict was spectacular. Highly recommend.

Nice place, nice coffee and nice atmosphere. However I didn't appreciate one of the waitress' attitude, but overall would come back.

Nice location. But i am quite unhappy with my breakfast today. I asked for a croissant and what i got was not fresh and not even warmed up. Wont go back anymore.

Hard to go past the bacon and egg roll but the mushrooms were sensational!!

Visited on a Sunday, however I'm always glad to see whenever I walk pass that the cafe is busy during weekdays. Go to their website to secure your table ($20 per person no-show fee). Waiting time for food I feel is okay - 10-15 mins or maybe even less. Food are unique and very delicious, you can easily spend close to $30 - $40 per person (incl. non-alcoholic drinks). We had the maple glazed (it almost tastes like char-siu) bacon congee with fried chicken and ocean trout each, not-so-benedict and also ottoman eggs. They're all really yummy! Staff are friendly and attentive, yet busy. It's a bit hard to get their attention at times and it's okay as they'll come back and check on you. Sit outside if you enjoy people watching (beautiful), sit inside for a more intimate mood. Either way it's a beautiful venue. Also, they charged $2 for hot water. BYO cake cost is $2 per person (for plate, utensils, cut etc). Nothing comes for free :)

A lovely quiet cafe (on a friday afternoon) and staff were very attentive and accomodating given we had a child with us. Love the Banoffee Pie Waffles - crisp waffles and a generous amount of bananas in between. Will definitely be back

Our breakfast this morning was delicious and the service was friendly with the right amount of attention! We had the pancakes and mushroom toastie. It was worth the drive from the other side of the harbour bridge. We will be back!

Food was great, ordered the congee but found it might be a little salty for my favour but overall was good enough! The only downside was the encounter with one of the Asian waitresses who had a bit of an attitude, understandably that she might be having a bad day but it wasn’t very welcoming, other waitresses and the owner were very thoughtful and friendly which is why this is a 4 stars review. Thanks QBF for the experience.

Good food and friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant setting and atmosphere. Cafe favourites turned up a notch in sourcing, preparation and taste. Thoughtful selection of beverages also.

Fantastic food, service and ambience

Nice coffee, shame portion has gone smaller and prices higher, two breakfast + two coffees and we paid $65, service like always first class quality but a nice airy place to enjoy a nice time.

Wow - the produce is beautiful, eg confit ocean trout and organic eggs. It really makes a difference. One of the best brunches in Sydney. Yum!

Nothing worth the money. Bad service as well

Really delicious food and cocktails. Wait times are a little long when busy, but worth it. Waitress made an error and overcharged us at brunch, but this was fixed quickly for us.
